Screwing Machine Design with Fixture for Mobile Casing. I designed this for the real time purpose in the simplest way.
Screwing Machine is already known to you, where the machine is used to done the screwing operation.
Fixtures, in simple words it is the part where used to hold the workpiece or product without moving from its position.
As you see the picture of the machine having the parts are :
- Screwing Machine
- Screw bits
- Bed
- Fixture beds or Fixtures
- Hydraulic arm
- Fixed body
Working:
As shown in the figure, when we place the mobile case in the certain position, by the help of motor, the fixture jaws will move towards center and holds the case tightly. Then, the hydraulic arm which moves in both directions as vertically and horizontally also.
The vertical arm is used to set the relative position (height) of the screw machine to the mobile case.
The horizontal arm will move in and out to set the radial position of screw machine to done the screws at correct positions.
So, the screwing operation will be done like this. It is more likely to be Automation depended work.

I designed the same machine which works on manual power, where everything will work with man power except the screwing. The extra part is, it is having a transparent guide to do the screwing at the fixed point position.
