Hello Guys. I am back with the new topic with old technology which is very famous still where only some people knew about this. Without any unnecessary matter lets get into the topic.
We all know about the trains right ? Many of us love travelling in train because of its passing through the outskirts of the place which also covers the nature and its weather also right. Some of the best railway routes are like Araku valley in India, The Trans-Siberian Railway, Russia, The Darjeeling Himalayan Railway, India etc,.
By growing in the technology we have seen many types of trains like Bullet trains, Metro trains, Mono Rails, Levitating trains etc., as like many in future also we may see flying trains also hahaha. That is ok. Now lets go back to the 1900's . In that century the technology changing was started taking place in railways in different or innovative way from others. From those innovators brains i brought you about the oldest train but the present famous one is Germany Wuppertal Schwebebahn Suspension train.

Suspension Trains was invented by the Eugen Langen in 1903. It is also called mono rail because it is running on the single track only. It is very famous still because of its design and route design is attractive for the passengers. Because the bridge route is constructed over the river flowing path, so the passenger feels different feel of travelling in the train. Still now Germany people use it for daily transport . Now how it is working ? we have many types of mono rails but now we are discussing only about the German famous train. As you can see the design below it have two coaches having only four wheels per coach. In that two wheels are powered by the electric motors in the middle as shown, like that two motors are there. Where these wheels are hanging to the rail track, therefore the wheels are follows the path of the track which they also act like guides to it. And the engines are attached to the coach with rotating flexibility which is useful while taking turns.
Here you can see the model design of the train which i designed in onshape cad software along with the animation. you can see the entire working animation of the train. But there is a science that how they can be hanging with only wheels and balancing on single track that is using of center of gravity. Let me show you the video the behind science .
