Lets come into the topic guys, well we already made a post about the tires and its differences and all required information. Since we had discussed just about the present technology tires we had not talked about the past 1900's technology. How many of you know that past is also an awesome tech which was used in the developing technology. We know that the present tech is equipped from the past ancestor tech.
Just like that, Low Pressure Tires by Rolligon company brought the concept in tire development. A teacher named William Hamilton Albee invented this low pressure tires to reduce the accidental effects to the people when they hit by the vehicle. And also to run over the obstacles easily on the running way. You can see the picture of the Willan invention in the below picture.
If you observed clearly the tires are big compared to the present tires, in clear words the tire having larger surface area which is filled with the low pressure air inside the tire. So whenever it moves on the uneven road, the tire will deform easily and cross them. Even if it runs over the humans, they cannot be hurt due to the low pressure tire. Due to its surface area the air is distributes all over the sides when it run over an obstacle.
In the below video you can see a woman is just enjoying the moment while truck is moving over her and another man also trying the tires who is nothing but the inventor of the low pressure tires.
Actually this tires are invented in 1957 and the data provided here is also from the same year. In that time his company undergo loses because of its drawbacks of his invention. They are like due to this low pressure, the fuel conception will be more. The vehicle itself need more power to move the vehicle because it has big tires and low pressure. Due to this effects the vehicle will worn out faster and having other disadvantages. By watching the video you will understand that.
Due to losses the company stopped manufacturing them and embed with Texas company. Now Rolligon is mainly working on Oil and Gas fields.
Coming to the present time, the same tech was used in the vehicle "The Sherp ATV". It is an offroad vehicle where it even runs on any surface as well as in the water also. And you know what the wheels also using the same concept low pressure tires but we cannot guaranty people cannot get hurt from it.
