Hi Guys, How's the winter days ?. Enjoying the cool weather. Hope you are doing well. It's been days right for the new post. Well guys, i am trying to get the new topics which will attract you more, but it's not easy right. Don't worry, but todays topic will impress you definitely.
The today's post is about an another concept design on the bikes. By the way, how many of you watched the James bond movies and some action tech movies like you know we have seen that many different concept equipped vehicles.
So i also got a thought about that. " How it will be if a bike will be become long and short in height.".
But it's make me curious and finally made a model design on this concept.
And i strongly believe that, movie makers are the best innovators than the real engineers or scientists. Because whatever we are developing now, is all taken from the movies only hahaha. From creatures to advanced technology.
Coming to the topic, our new Concept Bike name is " FLEX ". It is an electric bike with two hub motors which are assembled within the wheel hubs. And it's body is so slim that, gives you look while slim and simple design. The wheels are having off-road tires for able to drive in mud roads also.
The front and back looks like same, if we remove the bike handle. It is also having a single member seat which gives you comfortable riding.
Concept
The concept feature of this bike is it can flexible it's body up to the length of up to 30 cm from the original length. For this feature i used hydraulic cylinders, where the wheel frames will move up to the angle of 30°. Therefore the bikes length and also the height also changed and gives a different experience in riding the bike.
Why i used this ?
The reason of this developed for increasing the speed of bike and the giving the experience of riding it. It is all linked with the Aero Dynamics.
Aero dynamics
Aerodynamics is the science of how air flows around and inside objects. More generally, it can be labeled “Fluid Dynamics” because air is really just a very thin type of fluid. Above slow speeds, the air flow around and through a vehicle begins to have a more pronounced effect on the acceleration, top speed, fuel efficiency and handling.
To simply say that, the air always flows in high altitude than lower altitude, where it means with the designs, we are letting the air escape easily and reducing the air friction which leads to increase in the speed of the vehicle.
This is the reason, why the super cars and sports cars are in low height of its body and ground clearance also. This all explained well in Aero Dynamics Subject. To know more visit here.
This is what I used in our bike design, as like you saw the Bajaj Avenger bike and Harley Davidson Bikes with low end height seats. It's gives you different experience. So here I mixed the both concepts in our Flex.
